CoIP is the short name used by DBL for CDMA VoIP Gateways which enable voice connections between the CDMA and VoIP networks. After a CoIP is correctly setup to connect the CDMA and VoIP networks, calls can then be routed between the two networks. CoIP is essential for VoIP service providers to extend their service coverage to the CDMA users as well.
